About Alison

Alison R. Park is Urbanity’s CEO and founder. She first began developing media and communications strategies in the human services sector in 2003 and has since served hundreds of individuals and public, commercial, cultural and nonprofit sector clients  authentically connect to audiences in Miami, New Orleans, New York City, Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Geneva, Oakland, San Francisco, Boston, Austin, Fort Yukon, Minneapolis, Chicago, Washington, D.C. and more through cutting edge political, communications and fundraising campaigns.

Alison is also an artist, writer, thought leader and educator and teaches Asian American Studies at Hunter College in New York City, her hometown. She has spoken and written on media, race, justice and culture in America since 2000, including at Yale Law School, New York University, College of Staten Island, Queens College, Columbia University, SUNY Purchase and Wayne University.
